Registration is open to any person who is a natural descendant of one of the Tupuna listed as resident in the South Island in 1894. It has been agreed that the term ‘Natural Descendant’ includes whāngai.
Application forms must be completed in full showing descent from one (or more) of the names on the Tupuna list. All whanau over the age of 18 years must fill in a separate registration application form
