Annual General Meeting 2026

Join us for Hui-ā-Tau and Evening Hākari. There is no cost to attend the Hākari, there will however be a cash bar if you wish to purchase beverages. This event is strictly for 18 year olds and over. Tickets are essential, bookings close on Friday 16 January 2026, no door sales.

Travel assistance and limited accommodation is offered to all registered iwi members over 18 years of age who reside in Aotearoa and are travelling from outside the rohe to attend the AGM.

Travel Option #1: North Island Whānau
Friday 30 January Bus from Levin to Wellington - Interislander Ferry to Picton - Bus to Ūkaipō
Registrations for bookings close Monday 15 December. We cannot process late requests.

Travel Option #2: North Island Whānau
$120 reimbursement per adult iwi member (18yrs +) for those arranging their own travel to the AGM

Travel Option #3: South Island Whānau
$50 reimbursement per vehicle travelling from Whakatū Nelson.
$120 reimbursment per vehicle travelling from outside of Te Tauihu
$120 per adult iwi member travelling to Te Tauihu by bus, train or plane within the South Island

Travel reimbursements forms will be available at the AGM. These must be submitted by Friday 13 February and payments will be made by Friday 20 February. You must provide proof of travel and bank details.

Accommodation
All accommodation is allocated on a first-in first-served basis regardless of the travel option you choose. Limited accommodation is available at Ūkaipō and Tuamātene Marae.
Kaumātua accommodation will also be available, please book early to avoid missing out.

Kawemate
Kawemate will be held on Friday afternoon at Tuamātene Marae. If you wish to bring kawemate please email events@rangitane.org.nz for more details so we can plan accordingly.
