On Friday 20 February, the Trust confirmed the reappointment of Janis de Thierry and Calvin Hart as Co-Chairpersons of Rangitāne o Wairau.

Rangitāne continues to move forward — strengthening our cultural foundations, standing firm in environmental matters, building influence in the right places, and backing initiatives that support our whānau. Leadership matters in that space, and we acknowledge the work they continue to put in.

We also want to acknowledge all of our Trustees. Governance is not light work. It requires time, preparation, tough conversations and collective responsibility. Each Trustee contributes significantly, both collectively and also in their own way — across culture, environment, strategy and advocacy — and that collective effort is what keeps Rangitāne progressing.
